We were delighted to be a beneficiary of the 2017 Charity Walk for Peace; thank you for your generous donation of £1000 which we received at the House of Lords in December. We have decided that we will put this towards the activities we organise around the International Day of Older Persons, which this year will take place on Monday 1 October.  This is one of our main public events of the year and by supporting our efforts you will be helping us to raise awareness of our work in Croydon, and also contributing to a gathering which is enjoyed by a large number of our older citizens.
